Winter is coming! Is your Car or RV ready?

Unfortunately, the seasons change. With the changing of the season and the weather temperatures, it is also time to prep the RV for winter storage.

Winter season is a good time to be checking our other vehicles for such things as tires. Are my tires ok for winter driving conditions?

The vehicle’s battery should also be checked for cold temperature operating conditions.

RV’s require a bit more attention as they have a whole winter to just sit. here are a few ideas to help make it more comfortable for your Loved RV.

The winter months can cause a build-up of humidity inside your camper or RV. To help minimize the amount of humidity in our RV, we use a product called Drizair.

Be sure to close the windows, and small openings before you wrap the camper or RV up, as small creatures like to make homes or nests.

Storage Insurance.

Like many of us in Canada, we do not use our RV during the winter months so why should we pay for insurance and not use it? Well here is a tip. In BC we can place the RV in Storage and pay a reduced rate. Saves me money = I’m in! check out ICBC for more details also try BCAA for quotes
